Summer Home Tour

Hey, friends! I know you just found a whole bunch of summer inspo over at Hello Central Avenue! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Now, grab some coffee and let’s hang.

Since we’re officially friends, I’ve got to let you in on a secret. I’m very much a fall and Christmas decor freak. In fact, I normally am so burned out after those two seasons, I don’t even decorate much for spring or summer. But over the last few months, I’ve moved away from neutral decor and have added more color into my home and I’ve been so inspired to decorate. We have recently finished up a couple of projects that have added a bit of fun to some spaces…and isn’t that what summer is all about…fun and freedom to create?

The first space I want to share is a our Summer Bucket List. We love to create these bucket lists for each season. This chalkboard wall was one of the first DIY projects I did when we first moved in. It’s such an inexpensive way to add a little bit of interest to a space.

Our master bathroom has been our big project this spring. A more detailed blog post will be coming soon, but here’s a little sneak peek. We painted the dark cabinets Olive Grove by Magnolia. We added a shiplap accent wall, a new light fixture, and an antique mirror I found on Facebook Marketplace.

I also added a fun peel and stick wallpaper to the wall behind our tub. I’m really loving the fun print!

I love a simple centerpiece! I sat some hydrangeas in this rusty bucket I grabbed at an antique store and was just smitten!

An easy and functional way to add a little summer to your home is throw some oranges and mandarins in a dough bowl. With five kiddos, they didn’t last long, but they made for a pretty picture! Haha!

I hope you’ve found some summer inspiration from our little farmhouse! Thank y’all for stopping by! Now, go visit my friend, We’re the Joneses, for more summer goodness!
