FASTer Way to Fat Loss: What Do You Eat?

I’m going to be talking about FASTer Way to Fat Loss this week. I have a round starting TODAY (woohoo!) and I have another one starting next Monday on January 6th (which you can sign up for HERE!) and I thought it might be helpful to them and to anyone thinking about the program to have some resources. We will be looking at what a low carb day looks like and a regular macro day. I’ll be sharing my favorite things to grab when I have a sweet craving. We will be talking about how you cook for yourself and your family. Hopefully, there will be some good information that will help you on your FASTer Way to Fat Loss journey or help you to make the decision if it’s the right program for you.

If you aren’t familiar with FASTer Way to Fat Loss, it’s a six week program where you learn how to eat and live to burn fat in the most effective way to lose weight and improve your health. There are workouts that go along with it, but I have had clients be successful without the exercises. I want to be clear that this isn’t a diet. It teaches you the best way for you to eat for the rest of your life. When you reach your optimum size, you adjust your macros to maintain instead of lose weight.

So, what do I eat? I eat whole foods. I eat food that God intended for me to eat. I eat all the veggies, meats, nuts, and fruits. I can make treats with honey or maple syrup. I do NOT eat gluten or dairy on a normal basis. I know that may want you to just close out of this blog post, but give me just a second! Y’all, my favorite food was pizza. PIZZA!! Can you get more gluten and dairy than that? But when I did the program, I was determined to give it my all and I didn’t eat gluten or dairy. And guess what happened? I felt SO much better! I didn’t look bloated anymore. I didn’t feel sluggish and walk around in a brain fog.

But here’s the thing that’s so awesome about this program. On Saturdays, we get to have a treat. And sometimes that treat was pizza or a burger on a bun, and you know what happened? I felt awful! I realized gluten and dairy are a big part of my health problems and it’s actually that way for most people! I can’t tell you how many clients I’ve had that end up loving a gluten/dairy- free lifestyle because they feel SO much better!

I’ll be sharing some of my own sample meal plans over the next couple of days to show that it doesn’t have to be difficult to eat a whole food diet. I try to keep things simple and the way the program is set up, you don’t get bored eating the same things every day. It’s the best!! Plus, we are making these changes in our private share group so you don’t feel alone in making the changes and you get ideas from other folks! Love, love, love!!

Tomorrow, we will be looking at a low carb day and what kinds of foods I love to eat to get my healthy fats in! 🙂
