Simple Meal Plan

Hello, Friends! It’s Friday and I’m here to share next week’s simple meal plan with y’all! I hope it helps make life a little easier! My goal is to provide a meal plan that’s simple, budget-friendly, and delicious. I’m also trying to steer my family into a direction of more paleo driven meals. To do this, I’m trying to slowly try paleo recipes, find the ones we love, and make those repeaters.

What are repeaters? Repeaters are meals that everyone in my family loves and we can just eat week after week, until we get tired of them. And then we switch it out for something different. Repeaters help me make meal time easier because I know the recipe. I can make it quickly and know the ingredients off-hand when I’m making my grocery list, etc.

Breakfasts, Lunches, and Snacks

I keep these really simple. For breakfast, we use fresh eggs when our free-range chickens aren’t being sneaky and we can find their eggs. We also make oatmeal, toast, with fruit. For lunches, we eat leftovers, pb&j sandwiches with fruit and veggies. I normally have a protein shake or a salad. Snacks are fruit or gummy snacks.

Dinners

Monday: Korean Beef Bowl. I’m trying a variation of the chicken rice bowl we’ve been enjoying as a repeater lately.

Tuesday: Aldi Pizza. This is take and bake pizza from our Aldi grocery store.

Wednesday: One Pan Creamy Shrimp. This is another rice bowl, but rice bowls have been a big hit around here lately and I’m trying to move away from gluten.

Thursday: Roman Chicken I’ll serve this over rice.

Friday: Tacos. I normally make beef tacos, but you can definitely make your favorite! Here’s a shrimp taco recipe that we love.

Saturday: It’s Supper Club for the adults and I’ll buy a lasagna for the kids.

Sunday: Hamburgers and Potato Fries.

Let me know which meals you are most looking forward to! Until next week!

Love, Sharlie
