The Vintage Bingo Anniversary Card

My blog titles are pretty genius, huh?

I must start off by saying I didn’t come up with this idea on my own, but I have no idea where I saw it so I can’t give credit where credit is due. It’s cute though, huh? I do know that it’s been awhile because I ventured onto Etsy a few months ago to see if I could find some vintage Bingo cards. In case you’re wondering, you can find them there. If I remember correctly, most were just random bundles and I didn’t want to take the chance that I didn’t get my anniversary date.

And in true Sharlie fashion, I just sorta forgot about the idea. But I was rambling around an antique store, and there they were…all kinds of old Bingo cards that I could search through. It only took four or five to find one with our anniversary date 5/24. Even better? It was $1. Score! (insert high five here)

So I brought it home, added those hearts, and stuck it on the cylinder display that holds our marriage license. 🙂

Super easy, cheap, and creative way to display your anniversary!

On another (and random) note, I’m so glad it’s Ocotber! October is my most favorite month of the year. I feel like it’s sort of the kickoff to the holiday season. The thing I love most about the holiday season is the anticipation of it all…and October means I can start pulling out pumpkins, think about Thanksgiving menus, and start Christmas shopping. It’s even better when there is a chill in the air! And then there’s football, pumpkin spice lattes, and bonfires…I could go on and on!

What about you? Do you have a favorite month?
